You'll find it's a highway to hell to think you can find Jesus and HIS church exclusively in ANY denomination or sect upon the face of the earth today. Jesus is either 'in your heart and in your life' or forget it. We have no choice but to grow alongside the darnel that the devil has sown in the field and leave it to the angels to do the sorting. Sorting wheat from chaff is not our job, it's just a distraction from doing God's will on earth as it is in heaven. Besides, God wants us to mix with sinners, the way Jesus did. Sin won't 'rub off' on us, because it didn't/doesn't 'rub off' on Jesus. How else can we influence sinners into The Kingdom? The CofE is no less in the thrall of Satan than any other. Look to one's own credentials as a 'good and faithful servant' rather than finding fault and pointing the finger at other's faults, (as we, in our own imperfection, might see them).

Personal politics can either confirm or deny your standing in the teaching of Christ. In Nazi Germany there were concentration camp political prisoners who were perhaps believing Lutheran, Evangelical or RC Christians, who were disciples of Christ and there were ex-Lutheran, ex-Evangelical or ex-RC Christians, who were Nazi SS Camp Guards, who were clearly NOT disciples of Christ. Don't let your political preferences stop you being a follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ. If your political opinions conflict with Christ's teachings, it's your political opinions which must change, before any attempt on one's own part, to change any other individual's in the denomination that you have chosen to associate with as fellow disciples.
