Found this quote on twitter the other day… wow

“Before ye approach the altar, consider well what you are to say: Forgive us our debts, even as we forgive our debtors. You forgive, it shall be forgiven you: approach in peace, it is bread, not poison.”

“ ‘This, then, is the bread that comes down from heaven, that if any man eat thereof, he shall not die.’ But this is what belongs to the virtue of the sacrament, not to the visible sacrament; he that eats within, not without; who eats in his heart, not who presses with his teeth.”

    This is beautiful.

How do Anglicans apply St Augustine to their church?

St Thomas Aquinas writing says that the practice of making a spiritual communion and confession is a practice that is greatly beneficial and Holy Spirit will be impressed on you.

During this pandemic do Anglicans also make spiritual communion?
