I have the 1979 BCP. I love it. I'm thinking of getting the Prayer Book put together by the AMiA.

I generally pray the Rosary, but at times I will go into my Canadian Book of Common Prayer (1962). The Canada BCP is a little different than the American one, as it still has those state prayers for the queen and the royal family!

Most Anglicans in our Canadian parishes will use the BAS (Book of Alternative Services) instead. However at home, it seems so rare to hear of Anglicans-from-birth even to have a Prayer Book, let alone know how to use it!

When I go to the BCP, I do so to pray one of the Offices or to recite one of the many beautiful Collects therein. I just wish that it was a little more, well, 'Catholicised'.

Otherwise, there is always St. Bede's Breviary online on my phone!
