Hi, nice to meet you.

I am a UK based Anglican iconographer. Strange, but true. As briefly as possible it means I paint anyone I like, from any Christian tradition (and sometimes outside Christianity) with no regard whatever for whether anyone else approves. Like a Proper Anglican.

I follow the stylistic conventions of traditional iconography, but I don't follow the practical conventions of egg tempera on wood etc, because I am not Orthodox nor pretending to be.

I paint a lot, and my work slowly and quietly finds its way around the world.

So that is me.

Oh yes, I am also disabled, which is why I have the time to paint. More of that some other time, maybe.

Welcome to the forum! I am former Orthodox and still retain a great respect for iconographers, perhaps you could write some of the reformation fathers! Hope you’re well!
