I have been in and out of the Hospital (minor procedure stuff) and I return to see an utter silence. Now I know the Americans may have their heads elsewhere at the moment, however, I want to make sure we are all alive and well, perhaps just on retreat?
All is well in Georgia, USA. The past week's political happenings and follow-up have taken a lot of people's time up and the great divide that exists in the USA is very evident. It is my hope and prayers that the USA can overcome its division, but it seems an unlikely wish to be fulfilled. My fear is that violence will take the forefront soon and we will have civil disorder, the likes we have not seen for years. God save us all.
I was going to ask something similar. I don't think it's the American election. Some of our top posters haven't posted for 1,2 or 9 months. It's my conjecture that it is the more fundamentalistic , conservative, members that have tended to ceased posting lately. Have you ever considered those people are right and the rapture has really happened and hardly anyone noticed.
I seldom comment on discussions of issues written about anymore. It began to feel like being preached at, not a discussion, so I opt to not respond.
I'm still here and glossing over the forums. I just find myself spending more time praying and being with family, and much less time online.
Glad to hear you're on the mend! It’s been pretty quiet here too—guess everyone’s either busy or waiting for something interesting to spark a conversation. Feels like we're all on a bit of a 'tactical retreat,' but I’m sure it won’t be long before things pick up again. How are you feeling post-procedure? Hopefully, all went smoothly! Paul
Just to give expectations - I usually will check in around 9:00am (ish) US Eastern time. Thats when I'll remove any spam I see. I hope everyone is doing well this Advent season.
