R. catholics aping classical Anglican poetry

    Found this post today while browsing through Reddit…

    Of course they don’t give credit, but hey… Maybe if they were as Christ-centered as we are, they would have such beautiful poetry as well

    Christ-centered? Ok, if you say so, but 'aping' sounds distinctly the opposite to me.

    The credit is right there, at the top of the poem.

    Meanwhile, Alabaster was a Catholic who later became an Anglican. Whose poetry this is, therefore, remains unclear.
