Personal poetry: is it therapeutic, is it meant to be shared?

    I have seen poems of young people on different forums and I am quite impressed.

    Some write from the heart, other's write from descriptions from geography, and other's attempt the short haiku.

    I know someone who wrote poetry as therapy for themself. They did not wish it to be shared.
