...the book of homilies! A treasure trove of Anglican thought and doctrine.

Sadly, most are put off by the old english spelling. What's great is that Trinity School has made a series of videos on YouTube of the homilies being read, which is how we were intended to digest them in the first place. Enjoy!

You can also just search "Book of Homilies" on YouTube and find the relevant channel.

This is an excellent resource. Especially recalling that the Homilies are one of the authorized formularies of the C of E and binding on Anglicans. There's some amazing stuff in them.

Putting the Homilies up online has always been one of the main short-term goals. They are the only unlinked item on the main website. Would anyone like to help with typing them up? If one person took one homily we'd be done very soon.

Of course once the Homilies are up we will likely link to popular resources about them like that Youtube link above.

I would love to help out. I have just started typing out the Second Book, First Homily, via the edition presented on Project Canterbury, but am unknowing of the difference between the editions themselves. What I can do though is whatever is given, I can certainly transcribe!
