A timely update on this post from way back in 2013: We have gone through and thoroughly improved and upgraded the text of the Apology. The late and anachronistic Preface from the 18th century has been swapped out for period-centric quotations around Bishop Jewel's life, and many text improvements we've introduced since 2013 have been retrofitted back into this early text.
