I am extremely glad to be here with you, brothers and sisters. I am from south Texas, a baker, husband, and father. I enjoy all things prayer book and Anglican. I guess I would classify myself as a "classical anglican" , and a bit high church in my preference of liturgics. I am a loyal son of the episcopal church, returning after time away in the continuum. I believe in unity of our church through our prayers, and pray for the return of all orthodox Anglicans to the communion. Churches have weathered worse storms, and I await the day when we will all be one...again. I am also interested in those who live a rule of life using the book of common prayer, the 39 articles as their guide. Look forward to chatting with all of you. In the love of Jesus, Derek
Welcome aboard, Derek. You bless us with your presence. I personally would love to hear more of your trek through the continuum and what it was that brought you back to your roots. For that matter, I'd love to hear your reasons for going on hiatus from TEC in the first place if you feel like sharing. Many thanks! May God bless your time on the forum!
Great to have you here! I enjoy learning of the diverse backgrounds that people have. In fact, I love diversity, period!
Welcome! I am learning quite a lot simply by reading the various postings. Great to have more people here.
