    Hello one and all!

My fiance and I have recently begun the search for a church in which we can hold our wedding.
We have our wedding reception planned within a small forest in the center of the Forest of Bowland AONB.

We knew there was a small church/chapel within the forest area that hosted a weekly service.
Now when I say small, I mean SMALL. This chapel only has 3 pews, sitting about 5 people on each pew!

Anyway, we love the chapel and have some close family ties with the associated parish.

We presumed (perhaps naively) that as the Chapel is under an associated parish and is used as worship then it would automatically be possible to get married there.
However, I spoke to the Rev'd of the Parish who explained that the Chapel isnt registered for weddings.

From my online reading I thought all permanent CoE buildings could be used for weddings.
I guess this isn't the case?

Is there anything we could do to arrange to have a wedding here?

Or are we left with the option of having a blessing here and holding a marriage elsewhere?

    Thanks!
