Good Afternoon, I'm a former Roman-Catholic curious about Anglo-Catholicism, Radical Orthodoxy, and the how Easter Orthodox and Anglicanism relate.
Howdy! I'm not so much a "former" Roman Catholic as I am becoming an Anglican. The Anglican church will feel very familiar to you, and God willing more like "home" than anything else. One thing to keep in mind is that the local diocesean bishop is the highest authority so to speak. The presiding bishop of the TEC is not a "pope" nor is the Archbishop of Canterbury. At its best the Anglican church has the best of the RC, EO, and protestant churches. In other words at its best it is the ancient church.
Welcome, I'm a former Roman Catholic converted to Eastern Orthodoxy. This forum is a curious melting pot!
I too am a "former" Roman Catholic. I would note that most former Roman Catholics are considered by them to be lapsed Catholics. BTW, lapsed Catholics, not members of another church, represents the 2nd largest religious group in the US.
