Hello All, I just discovered/joined this forum today. I plan to mostly lurk for a time but I wanted to post something to establish that I exist lol. I am a 43-year-old Canadian man who has felt called toward Christ since late 2013 but I've resisted until recent months. After some research on my part (an on-again-off-again process that played out over months), I landed on the Anglican Church and I attended my first service only two weeks ago. My second ever service was yesterday. To be clear, these were my first church services ever. Not just my first Anglican services. I'd never attended a church service before last week. So I have a lot to learn, and I already have a list of questions that will likely take me years to get out. Better late than never, I hope! Other than my 9-year old daughter, and a girlfriend who may be slowly coming around, I don't have any Christians in my established social circle. So I've been taking on a lot of this stuff on my own. It's been worth it so far, but unfamiliar and strange in places. A mentor would be nice. I guess I'm hoping this place can fill some of that role.
