Do you know of any Anglican liturgical penitent prayers

I would like to start doing some at home. I am not Anglican so I would like to be helped.

There's an office for Ash Wednesday. It can be used at other times of the year as well.

 

In case you aren't aware, the Daily Office prayers can be found inside a copy of the Book of Common Prayer. There are downloadable versions btw, if you don't want to buy a hard copy for that one limited purpose.

 

I recommend the Peneitential Office from Ash Wednesday. Here is an online version: http://commonprayer.org/offices/penit_n.cfm

 

The Ash Wednesday service in the American book is a mild-mannered rework of the Commination Service from the English prayer book: https://www.churchofengland.org/pra...-and-resources/book-common-prayer/commination

If you really want to bludgeon yourself with penitential language, look for the version of the service prepared by George Herbert.
