I'm working on a "micro" Morning Prayer to re-introduce people to prayer and I'm doing that in Spanish because it happen to be my mother tongue. So if you could help me, I'd like somebody to read and send me some feedback.
Good point Anglican74, maybe this could be a good resource kestrel: http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bcp/Spain/index.htm
Oh yes, but I'm not trying to offer an alternative to the BCP, just a gentle introduction to daily prayer to those Christians who are "fading away" into secularism. As you probably know most Christians in Spain do not attend church except in social events ; and that combined with an increasingly post-Christian or even anti-Christian media means the future is pretty bleak. My little prayer is not a ship, the HMS Book of Common Prayer, but a lifeboat.
Well, do you hold to the historical creeds and ecumenical councils? Are you OK with formal prayer? If so, then yes, you could help me
Here you have, in pdf, linked to my dropbox account. Just note these are extremely (as in daddy I want to pray) simple prayers. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7316823/lauditas.pdf <- "Morning Prayers" ('cause you do them in the mornings) https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7316823/vispercitas.pdf <- "Evensong" Anybody desiring to brave my Spanish is welcome
