    Friends,

They've finally found the earthly remains of the leader of the defeated party of the Battle of Bosworth Field.

King Richard III of England is infamous for legendarily locking his nephews in the Tower of London in order to make his less-secure claim to the Throne without opposition. He's generally remembered as a villain, but this is fascinating.

That's a pretty harsh judgment to make on your part, isn't it?

Someone has started a petition to have him buried in a Roman Chapel claiming he was a Romanist. All about, people on this site claiming the reformation as a starting point for the Church? The spokesman for the C.of.E., didn't waste any time at all. He's Anglican and he's being buried in an Anglican cathedral!

Alls I know about Richard III I learned from Bill Shakespeare: " I clothe my naked villany With odd old ends stolen out of holy writ; And seem a saint, when most I play the devil.” he sounds very average and normal in this regard. ;)
