I bought this and it came today,

I'm very pleased with it. I love comparing different versions and my boyfriend loves looking at liturgies so hopefully it will make us both happy! It takes me back to my Anglican days :D

eBay :) It was quite cheap; I thought it was going to be a paperback but it's hardback.

Just bought a copy, too, on eBay. Sorry, I got the cheapest one.:D

For those who want a Kindle edition it exists in that format.

My copy arrived today. I feel a tad disappointed in it. I can't say I know what I expected but it just looks and feels like a paperback novel.

It's diffcult to say :dunno: because I only had a vague exectation of what I'd receive. Therefore, I am unable to say I do not like it because of .... It just feels like and looks like a paperback novel. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but I suppose I'd vaguely expected more.

Often it has to bo with the binding. Good liturgical books open nicely and flat.

I think this is paperback. I have an Oxford World Classics version of the same thing, and it, too, is paperback. I believe there is also an ebook version.

It's not strictly speaking a liturgical book. It's just a facsimile copy of three versions of Church of England's Book of Common Prayer. I suppose the format used is to keep the cost to a minimum.

I appreciated the fact that it's a facsimile and original spelling etc. I love that. Each to his own :D

I don't mind the original spelling. In fact, I'd expect and would've been annoyed if they'd tried putting it in modern English.
