Does anyone know how different Anglican youth groups are from the mainline evangelical ones? I always found those to be extremely disgusting and shallow, as it is more about entertainment than serious teaching. My worst memories of all time in the church, quite traumatic in fact, come from the youth groups, as I never fit in with kids my age, and always found the ones in church to be almost beyond the rudeness of some of their secular peers, which may be why so many kids who grew up this way are apostasizing. Would you say the Anglican youth groups are generally more 'serious' than the hipster evangelical ones? I am quite disturbed by the younger generation in general, the current one more so, and it is getting worse as it goes along.
