    ive noticed my bcp has no section for private confession why is this

    Is it not in the section for the Visitation of the Sick? (That’s where it was located in the 1662 BCP.)

    That service typically ends up in the manuals of occasional services that are marketed to clergy. A lot of clergy are fairly ambivalent about hearing private confessions.
