I love this site, but it's very difficult to read due to font size. Is there a way to increase the size of the font? I'm so sorry if I'm a bother. It's just these old eyes, and I just got new glasses. :loopy:

What in particular, the main text of each post? Or every piece of text, the menus, the buttons and the like?

Hi @Brigid if you are reading the forum on a computer with a modern browser, the power is in your hands. Just press [CTRL] and [+] concurrently and you will up the size. You may repeat this a few times if you like.

    [CTRL] and [+] to increase
    [CTRL] and [-] to decrease
[CTRL] and [0] to return to normal

Maybe I'm dense, but I have a Mac. I see control but then do I shift to get to the +? I tried and it didn't change anything. BTW, I use Safari.

By the way, I use Opera on my Mac and Windows, and Linux/UNIX systems, as it, among other features, has a brilliant system for font size control.

Also you can buy a used 1st gen iPad Pro for under US $200, a used iPad Pro 10.2” (second generation), or a new iPad base model for $399, or a used iPad mini for even less, and for reading, these devices are superb. At Target I recently saw an Amazon Fire tablet for US $99 which I want to try. But the iPad Pros are fantastic machines and are still fast enough for what I want to do.

Just out of curiosity @Phoenix did you recently tweak the default font that we post in, and that our posts are displayed in? For some reason the letterforms look different to me, but not in a bad way (it looks to be a very elegant font, almost but not quite Garamond, but of a similar style and sophistication); however, I do have a splitting headache and my eyes are bothering me.

At the very least however we can rest assured that the typography on this forum is elegant even when one is not feeling well.

I’m fairly confident that the forum styles haven’t been changed by anyone in the last 6 months. That being said, we will keep in mind a larger font size for when the Forums will be upgraded in 2020.

Just so you know, the present font is extremely beautiful in my opinion.
