Has anyone looked into Rod Dreher's book and idea. I think it is a great idea to form intentional Christian communities and to deepen our faith and faith life. It is not running for the hills but shoring up the foundations.

Generally I favor intentional Christian communities as a concept, but I don't think that that's what Rod Dreher's book suggests in its fullness... The title itself suggests the fullness: namely to follow the example of Benedict of Norcia to retreat into the wilderness and cut off contact with the world

    It's on my to-read list.

But the book if you read that does not suggest that.
