I know some Christians, in particular Roman Catholics, who are vehemently against it. I am not sure about in other countries but in the United States it is largely simply a WASP club.
Article here from 2011 about a Freemason Bishop, he had to resign his membership. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/8514169/Archbishop-allows-freemason-to-be-bishop.html I believe Archbishop Cyril Garbett Archbishop was an active mason. I think membership is not so popular now among Anglican Clergy.
