"Like this if you oppose both racism and SEDITIOUS CONVENTICLES and would join a HOLY SACHEVERELL MOB against them as LOYAL ENGLISHMEN did in 1710! Amen!"
I just thought you'd all like to know that your memes are coming in handy debating a group of papists on Instagram. If our church doesn't seem superior to them already, it certainly will after they see these bad boys
One of my favorites: From the Facebook page, Angelic Anglican Memes, which is doing the Lord's work! https://www.facebook.com/AngelicAnglicanism/
I have to say that one struck me as being a bit surly, and as someone who is a fan of the traditional Anglican monastic orders like the Order of the Holy Cross, I didn’t get a huge chuckle there. However, this was more amusing:
Only buys facsimiles - the Chad 1611 Anglican knows that almost illegible old fashioned fonts enhance ones understanding of the Scriptures, and that the letter J is of the devil.
It's just how younger people joke around... Memes didn't exist even a few years ago but now are everywhere...
As a "youth", you honestly wouldn't believe what counts as humour amongst my generation. A meme is much more likely to be totally nonsensical than anything else. Those "virgin X Vs Chad y" memes are supposed to be stupidly far fetched. In many cases you really need to understand several years of internet nuances to even understand one!
Hmmmm. I see what you mean. I have officially become an old fuddy-dud! Wonder how that crept up on me.....
Now these are some proper Memes! Let’s keep them coming. I would love to see a Meme that honors the 1549, 1662, and 1928 American, BCP editions, while absolutely skewering the 2004 Irish BCP or the dreadful UK Common Worship.
The only console I ever had was a Wii, which was moderately entertaining, but PC gaming wins all the way around. Perhaps I should try to find it and see if I can put Linux on it and turn it into a DNS and DHCP server or a DVR. That would ne an amusing use for one. Before Sony removed the Alternate OS feature, the PS3 was an amazing platform, and lots of companies bought them, installed Linux on them, and used them due to their extremely parallel IBM Power Cell CPU, which if you bought it on IBM iron cost like $5, 000.
