A little good news in the American continuing church

A small step was acknowledged in the ACC towards union of the various continuing church jurisdictions in America.

Interesting! What do you see to be the takeaway from these news?

 

I think the laity never really had a problem with taking communion in the different jurisdictions. Beyond that, parishioners have been able to move from jurisdiction to jurisdiction relatively easy. I moved from UECNA to the ACC and then the APA when moving from state to state over the past few years, and didn't have any issue.

 

What of other ACC jurisdictions like South Africa where the ACC has very few parishes? Can members still take communion at the Canterbury parishes here?

 

This was more specifically "continuing" church groups, and especially with reference to the ACC, ACA an APA in America.

I think most of the laity and all of the leadership of the various continuing churches would be against taking communion at a parish connected to Canterbury.
