Apart from extemporaneous prayers, there are a couple of major liturgical grace prayers, and I'm wondering which one you think is the traditional Anglican one, and use for yourself? The grace prayer offered in the 1928 US Book of Common Prayer goes like this: Bless, O Father, Thy gifts to our use and us to Thy service; for Christ’s sake. Amen. However I have seen a good friend of mine say the following; it isn't from the 1928 BCP, but is well-known in the Christian world nonetheless: Bless us, O Lord, and these, Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen. Wikipedia also has this (marked as "Church of England, Common in British and Australian religious schools"): For what we are about to receive, may the Lord make us truly thankful/grateful. Amen.
