It is a basic synopsis of Anglican worship and beliefs. It is used in the USA by the ACNA as their catechism. The reason I am reading it now is that we have a new priest at our parish that was just recently ordained into the Anglican Catholic Church. He had spent decades in the United Methodist Church, but left it due to their schism concerning gay-marriage & blessings and female-ordination. He has a PhD. in Divinity and Theology and officially "retired" from the UMC and came to our parish as a lay-person and then got into discussion and learning from our Archbishop and various Canons locally. He ordained with us in late October. He is not a young man, as he is now 73, so he and I can relate to the many changes in the world seen in our lifetimes.

Point of clarification - it might be used by some ACNA churches as PART of their teaching to catchumens, but it is not THE catechism of the ACNA. Information can be found here, and the official catchechism ordered here.

I have purchased the latter for my reading, too.
