My name's Adrian and I'm 60 and from the UK. In terms of religious observance I'm CofE, but I'm very tempted by the Old Catholics. Also I'm a staunch defender of the 1662 Prayer Book as well as being an Anglican sympathiser to the Latin Mass Society.
Welcome. You may be interested in my thread- https://forums.anglican.net/threads/authority-to-change-the-prayer-books.4812/
Hello, Adrian! I'm new as well, but can still welcome you. I LOVE the U.K., lived in England briefly as a teenager, been back frequently through the years. I recently bought the 1662 BCP (International Version, IVP imprint) and am still getting acquainted with it. I look forward to hearing about your faith journey. All the best.
Hi, Adrian 1963. Welcome to the Forum! I hope you enjoy the discussions. You may not be interested in the thread "Authority to change Prayer Books". It's not a current thread and the OP demonstrates a lack of knowledge and understanding of English law and refuses to be corrected.
I thought you were going to ignore me PDL? Adrian1963, read my thread if you like, and tell me if you find it informative, and also if I lack knowledge and understanding of English law. You may be able to update me on the B.o.C.P situation in the last 30 years or so, which I'm a bit hazy on, or be able to point me in the right direction to find out.
