anglican confession times

    in most rc parishes they have a set time where the priest hears confessions why dont anglicans have the same

    Because the Church of England holds to the notion that All may, some should, none must. If you feel the need to unburden yourself to a priest then make an appointment and you will be seen privately and discretely at a time suitable for both of you, not just at a time thought suitable for only the priest.

    That is not entirely true. Some Church of England parishes I know do advertise times for confession. However, a lot of Anglicans do as I do. When I want to confess I set up a mutually convenient time with my confessor.
