One of the Pope's core Cardinals offering an LGBT mass.... I guess I should not be surprised

I had the occasion to be over in Columbus yesterday. I was cruising down US40 looking for my destination and passed by the Roman Catholic cathedral for the diocese of Columbus. They are preparing for an episcopal consecration. A couple blocks further down I cruised by a big TEC church and they are preparing for a Pride Mass this Thursday. The question that always comes to my mind is, "Is anyone asking for this?"

Not that I know of. We collectively tend to trip over our own feet trying to get out ahead of any appearance of intolerance that we could possibly get criticized for, without stopping to ask if it’s actually fulfilling a need in the first place. There are plenty of congregations where that sort of thing would not go over well.

    Now this is new

First gay blessing in Italy, diocese of Italian bishops’ president
    https://newdailycompass.com/en/first-gay-blessing-in-italy-diocese-of-italian-bishops-president

"First, the civil union at the registry office, then the blessing in church. It’s the first time a gay couple has been blessed in public in an Italian church. What’s more, it took place in Bologna which is the diocese of Cardinal Zuppi, the president of the Italian Bishops' Conference."

65 years after JESUS ascension, it was around year 95AD, JESUS described the spiritual conditions of the 7 Churches of Asia, but the former and TRUE church of the Lord in Rome, according testimony of Paul Apostle(Romans 1:v.8-13), was fallen in the hands of Satan , the Church of Rome was apostate by complete , so JESUS excluded it because was totally in the hands and power of the Devil.

JESUS soon saw that His church in Rome would become Satan's provisional throne, that's because the Gospel was being preached, announced, to the Gentiles, and Jerusalem was totally destroyed and the people of Israel banished from Palestine and scattered throughout the Earth. Were it not for these things, the church of Rome would be, besides the seven churches of Asia, the eighth to receive a message from JESUS, instead, it became the body and headquarter of Devil, the idolater, apostate, and devilish church of Rome until this current time.

    Revelation 18:v.4-5
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Ephesians 5:v.7 to 11.

Be careful, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. - If not, get ready -

Was it “Satan’s provisional throne” when its bishop was defending orthodoxy at Chalcedon?

The world has only one ruler, and it isn’t any mythical devil.

To be clear, I'm not part of the Roman Communion nor do I intend to be, but this polemic against them is unsavory to say the least. Not to mention, Rome already showed the Church of England the door when the Pope excommunicated Queen Elizabeth I in 1570. I'm not sure how productive it is on an Anglican forum to admonish people to flee Rome.

It’s as reasonable as anything else… the RCs on their forums and YouTube channels admonish people that as bad as the Papacy is they shouldn’t become Anglican… it’s just the normal statement of one’s case
