    Hello all,

I am new to this forum, and am excited to engage in discussions and spiritual growth with you all.

I suppose to introduce myself: I was raised baptist, but then left Christianity for awhile as an adult. I later come back to the faith through the PECUSA. I recently moved to the DC metro and am trying to find a new parish to call home. I have considered the Continuum, but it remains to be seen.

Welcome @utilitymonster. Anglican ways are very tolerant of wandering sheep. I hope you find our 'fold' relaxed accommodation. We are a broad church, and I hope, appreciate the need to be understanding of differing points of view, while not compromising on essential issues of The Faith. Good luck in finding your new 'parish home'.

    And welcome!

Would be glad to have a conversation on the PECUSA and the Continuum and the ACNA, when you get the chance!

Hey Tiffy. Thank you for the warm welcome. The ability to join together and disagree on certain non-essentials is exactly why I came to Anglicanism. (Especially since I am so uncertain about so many of those non-essentials.) My first priest in PECUSA used to say, "We may not always believe alike, but we will always pray alike."

I might start a thread about my thoughts sometime. Thank you for the welcome!
