Hello my friends. So over the past couple of weeks I've been having some rather unsettling symptoms, and since they seem to involve my heart, I have been greatly troubled in my mind. I have informed my family, and my sister is a doctor and my mom a retired nurse...and all of them are very close by. They are urging me to make an appointment with a doctor fairly soon just to be on the safe side and maybe get on medications. It is not, I am assured, an immediate emergency...but has been causing me anxiety. I am overall in very good health, only 40 years old, normal blood pressure etc. So, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ...please pray for me. Please pray that my mind will be put at ease and that I am indeed in God's hands. Thank you and many blessings to all!
I will keep you in my prayers, CWJ, and ask the Lord to keep you in His tender care. I hope your appt. is soon, and let us know how it goes!
Thank you Madeline It's so comforting to know my friends here are praying for me. I'll be sure to post updates after my appointment. I'll be ok I'll continue to trust in God to carry me through whatever lies ahead.
I hope you do indeed feel better knowing that you have people praying for you. I know that this has helped me a great deal. I have been blessed to see Christ holding each one of us, and now trust that whatever happens, He is completely with us always.
Yeah it really does help me to feel better. And I'm glad you've been helped with the comfort of prayer from others as well my friend. Sometimes I just need to lean on other believers a bit for reassurance. I normally despise drawing any attention to myself whatsoever, But over the years I've come to realize that I shouldn't shy away when in need. And yep, He is indeed with us always, thank you Madeline. You and Aidan both have really helped me today.
We're here to help one another, and to pray, weep, laugh, encourage and admonish one another. Besides, 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. And that feels like it's only right, don't you think?
Christ Be With Me Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ where I lie, Christ where I sit, Christ where I arise, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of every one who speaks to me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. Salvation is of the Lord. Salvation is of the Christ. May your salvation, Lord, be ever with us. St Patrick
O LORD, look down from heaven, behold, visit, and relieve this thy servant. Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy, give him comfort and sure confidence in thee, defend him from the danger of the enemy, and keep him in perpetual peace and safety; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Have just read this CWJ. Will certainly keep you in my prayers. Perhaps Philippians 4 v6 and 7 might be of comfort.
Thanks for your prayers Christina And oh yes, those verses from Sacred Scripture are very comforting, thanks for reminding me of them my friend. Many blessings to you.

Hello again my brothers and sisters. Apparently I have "Atrial Fibrillation" with "palpitations". I have to go back for more tests next week. Could be worse, could be better. But I wasn't sent in for immediate heart surgery so that's a good thing My dad has had "Afib" for years, and underwent a procedure for it just last winter, and his dad had it as well, so it definitely runs in my family. Thanks for your prayers, and please continue to pray for me my friends.
It's good to hear that you know what is going on, and will know more. I pray that God strengthens your heart.
