Complete rubbish. But it is better than it could have been. It's not going in the Prayer Book or even EOW, it's going to be completely optional and non-binding.

There may be more ACNA churches in the days ahead.

I seriously doubt it. Most parishes that were going to left have done so.

I believe you're referring to Bishop Mark Lawrence of South Carolina. He has made it abundantly clear that he is not leaving TEC nor is the Diocese of South Carolina. There are thousands of orthodox Episcopalians who are committed to staying. Being orthodox doesn't equal leaving TEC.

He has made no such statement. Bishop Lawrence and the Diocese of South Carolina are committed to staying in the Episcopal Church.

  7. well as a gay guy Im pleased some parts of the Anglican church are moving forward. I have every intention of marrying or civil unioning (silly name) my partner one day; but I'm going to wait till the Anglican church of Australia allows for the blessings. cause that's the part that means most to me.

I've struggled with the issue myself and there is no way that I can see the Scriptures supporting homosexual activity. I am bound by Scripture, therefore I cannot support same-sex blessings.

I think you need to take a class in the proper interpretation of Scripture, ecclesia anglicana.

    Admin: unnecessary personal reference.

  13. no I think i'll make myself right at home here. after-all it is for ALL Anglicans isn't it?

Admin: do not make personal references.

  14. Christianity whilst keeping it's essentials must change cause it's clear women are equal to men in all things, its clear that depsite 'God' approving of slavery and st paul not even thinking slavery was a moral issue it is actually a moral issue and we've outgrown the bible's concept of slavery and the morality therof.

until u choise to teach EVERYTHING the bible commands I cannot take any of you seriously.

Admin: personal references, and insulting references to Scripture removed. The rest is a valid topic for discussion, but not in the manner it has been so far. Insulting and condescending manner of conversation will not be tolerated on this forum.

I have as much right to be here as anybody, and I intend to stay :D

Sorry but I believe you have gone right over the top, everyone has a right to their opinion, and everyone also has a right to not agree with someone else's opinion. I think you should have a long think about the way you communicate with others.

    Blessings, Gordon
