Today I saw For Greater Glory, The True Story of Christiada (2012). I was awestruck. It was about something I had never even heard of before. Mexico leadership outlawing religion in the 1920's. Has anyone else seen it? Film link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1566501/
I haven't seen it yet. I've heard about that incident from a Mexican friend, but I really don't know much about it. I need to learn more.
I was not aware of it before seeing it. What surprised me, was just how recent it happened and how little we hear of it. Warning, the movie is violent but not to graphic. What I thought was so interesting is; it showed The American President Calvin Coolidge, sending the ambassador to the Mexican government offering military help, if the Mexican President would offer a more favorable oil deal.
