    Hello everyone--

Well as the posted announcements mentioned, we were shut down in order to recover from an overseas hacker intrusion. A breach has allowed some members to take unauthorized actions. The database has been recovered mostly intact from our last backup, although the schema recovery took longer than originally anticipated. Expect to find a few broken messages or posts here and there still, and if you do, please report them.

Unfortunately there's no perfect security in this world. All we can rely on are prudence in making backups and speed in reacting to the incident. The server security team has performed their jobs well. All perpetrator accounts have been suppressed, and due measures taken by the server team.

Once again, apologies for the downtime.
