Welcome aboard Shane! May god richly bless your time here.

May I ask, when did you heat God's call and what was your journey to the diaconate...especially in a continuing church?

My jurisdiction is the Orthodox Anglican Church (I know some reject our status as Continuers because the jurisdiction came out of TEC prior to the Congress of St. Louis - but where else do we fit?)

As for God's call, I heard it at 17, but it was a long and circuitous path to the present. I was not raised Anglican, or any form of liturgical Christian. I began seeking a new course, primarily due to a thorough study of church history, when I was in my mid-20s. My introduction came through Lutheranism and I have also had some doings with Orthodoxy (and the Ordinariate recruited me, but that didn't really go anywhere). Seminary became possible through the patronage of the Post 9/11 GI Bill.
