Depends on the method used and the teaching of the Providence in which you live. I know a fellow priest and his wife who used this method to have a child. The concept is not flawed. I think where the problem arises is what happens to the other embryos or children not used. If they are life and therefore children at conception, can they be killed as they are no longer needed. It would be great if the Church would come out with a teaching to help us answer that question. Fr. Mark
I totally agree with you on your last statement. Our church seems to depend a lot on secular views on some issues which makes some of us turn to the Roman Catholic church for answers because they do tend to be involved in science and medicine as well. I used to think artificial insemination was a morally neutral method of conception until I learned about the possibility of multiple embryos.
